Cash Out Kells at it again

So Kells turned 21 today!! Finally all of Brohio is legal in the bars. Last night had to be one of the best 21st birthdays I've ever been a part of. Everyone collectively brought home the cup. Obviously Kells was the front-runner for the cup but props to Brad, Schmitty, Dave, Chris, Ben, Vaugn, Ty and everyone who helped us destroy our youngest member.

Schmitty got punched in the face because he was kissing some random dude, so Vaugn smashed a glass over his head. Schmitty left because his shirt was ripped even though the bouncer told him to keep partying. The other kid got taken away in a cop car.

At 4 am Kells woke up in Wildcat Alley and proceeded to walk to the stairwell right by the front door and start peeing all over them. He was even leaning back so that he could hit the top stairs.. Needless to say, he got them all pretty good. He was not exactly coherent during any of that and wouldn't talk to us. He went right back to bed in the alley afterwards.

I was suppose to document the night but it turns out that I only took 2 pictures. Both before the bar..

Super Park 2k10 was pretty successful for Brohio this year. They let Bronco out of the stables for the event. Here are results for the crew:

So we have definitely been lacking hard on bloggin.... Hopefully there will be an edit or 2 up soon.
But in the mean time be sure to say a prayer or two for Trevor Rhoda and his family. Trevor took a nasty fall this past Friday and is in the intensive care unit of the MQT hospital. He's a strong kid and we know he will pull through this.

We had a very special visitor this past weekend. Tyler Scott joined Brohio for a few days of snowboarding, partying and recovering. Yesterday, Sunday, was his last night here and Jimbo, Ty and I went and saw Avatar in 3D, which I must say, if you can go and see it, do it. It's amazing. After doing a little math we realized that Ty has spent $34.50 on going to see Avatar in theaters and I have spent $42.50. Although $17.00 was for Brittney, but it was all worth it. After the movie, it was time to get down to business. Ty also brought along his scissors to give us all some new looks. Needless to say, we could all go for a little haircut. So we set up a little area for him to work his magic on our very over grown hair.
haha our barber chair is not quite as good as the ACTUAL Go T's Barber Shop.

Chris went first, he obviously was in the most need of a fresh cut.

So we all just got back from Colorado yesterday and these are some pics from my camera of how this trip went down. I didn't drive out with everyone on the 26th, I flew out on the 4th and drove back Chris and Krieser. Hopefully Kells will have some edits and other pics up shortly but for now, this is our Colorado trip, through my eyes...

Christopher made a huge mess in Reid's bathroom, including breaking a wall mirror, passing out in the bathtub, and my personal favorite, peeing on the rug while trying to pee in the sink.

This is where we stayed, you can tell we kept it nice and tidy. Under that ping pong table was where I lived for the week I stayed there. Izzie is posted up on Ben's laptop.

First we would like to apologize for the lack of updates. Christmas time was pretty hectic considering we all live in different states...

However, on the 26th of December our entire house (minus Brad) reunited and began our drive from Marquette Michigan, to Silverthorne Colorado. A 24 or so hour drive that ended up taking closer to 30 hours due to the terrible driving conditions in Iowa...

Long story short, we made it! Silverthorne would be our house for the next 2 weeks. There will be more detailed posts about this topic in the next few days, but due to numerous comments of how terrible the blog has been for the past 3 or 4 weeks I figured i would give a preview of what the past 2 weeks of our lives have consisted of.

Michigan hates me

Sooooo.. I got a speeding ticket coming up here after Thanksgiving break.. Props to the Michigan State police officer who was doing his job while monster trucking through the median to pull over someone going 5 MPH over the speed limit while everyone on the road flew past me. I hope it made you sleep better that night knowing that you targeted out of state plates. AND since my license is from the far more superior state of Illinois, he decided it was a good idea to either make me pay $100 on the spot or confiscate my ID.. Like I carry $100 on me at all times?? So this damn state has my ID.

But this leads to my next story..

Wal-Mart: 11:00pm Wednesday December 2nd

Me being a sucker for the $5 movie section stumbles across this gem:

$5?? sure why not?

Apparently the fine employees at Wal-Mart take their job very seriously.. And think i look under the age of 17??

No ID = No movie for me. And apparently a college ID doesn't mean that i'm at least 18?

Kelly offered to show his for me but then that would mean he is "buying it for someone under the age of 17"

This reminds me of another time I had problems in this town.. last year at The Spot,

I was walking down to Ian's to meet the rest of my house and i decided i wanted to get some beer so i went in to buy 2 tall beers. Apparently my OWN ID didn't look enough like me for her to believe it was real and since it was 5 years old, the barcode on the back wouldn't scan.. Meaning she wouldn't sell to me. I told her to call it in because this was rediculous. So she did.

The Marquette police department searched my name, no records.. OF COURSE I DONT HAVE A RECORD IN MICHIGAN. I'm from ILLINOIS. So the dumb officer told her it was a fake ID and to confiscate it. Now i got pissed. A kind customer told me to call the police and have an officer come to the store. So the clerk holding my ID asked if I wanted to do that, of course i said yes. But i believe it went like this:

"Yea call the police! You're gonna feel bad when I'm right."

Then a kind older man chimed in:

"Don't call the police if you're not really 21."

Yes, sir. I'm going to call the police on my OWN fake ID.

So after the officer came and did the SAME search as the officer and came back empty AGAIN, he searched my actual drivers license number and finally found me. After commenting on how young i look in it he said to the clerk "Well, it looks like him enough to me, but it's your call"

You are a police officer!! It's your call!

Anyways, I did come away with this beauty:

It was an early rise for the household on Friday, November 20th, 6:30 AM to be exact, why were we all up so early? To shred the white ofcourse! SkiBrule was finally open so Jimbo and I quickly woke up the rest of the house with a little help from the school bell. Chris woke up in a puddle of piss, surprise! surprise! A full night of partying with an early wake up.

We gathered our things and quick hit up the MP for a solid breakfast then we were on the road. As always it was a real good time, the day was full of stoke, sun, and monster trucking. I've been up all night putting together this edit so i'll let it do the talking.

We only brought out the camera for about an hour and this is what we were able to come up with...

Saturday, Nov. 7th was one for the books. It all started with Dave bringing his shotgun into the house getting Brad, Chris and I stoked on shooting. Now Brad and I are not the most familiar with these guns, but seeing as Chris' state colors are camouflage he was definitely in his element. So the four of us decided to pile into Dave's Blazer and head out to Forrestville to do some shooting, but first we made sure to gather a wide variety of 40's, beer bottles and growlers to shoot.

When we got out there we decided to blaze some trails and take the more extreme route...

Here is one of the many trails we took.

These trails had many obstacles, none of which could stop us!

Hey look a rock, lets braaap it!

When we finally made it to the top of the hill a Ford Taurus went cruising by on a dirt road... Apparently there is a few different ways to get to the top. So we took another trail with hopes of finding a good place to shoot some guns. Along the trail we found this...

Yup this spot will work.

Dave and Chris quick took out the gun, loaded it, and Dave was the first to shoot. Dave then placed the gun in my hands with a quick tutorial which included him telling me how to turn off the safety and hold on tight. I took my first shot at a growler, luckily i didn't completely miss, i think i nicked it with about 2 buck shot. (Be sure to watch the video to see just how good i am with a shotgun).

Then Brad took the gun and blasted a growler as well as some bottles of Golden Wheat Budweiser (AKA instant diarrhea).

Then Chris and Dave put on a show throwing bottles in the air and blasting the shit out of them, Dave managed to shoot one into the wind giving all of us a glass shower.

Once we were down to only about 8 bullets we decided it would be best if we shot a pile of junk, this was a really good idea.

Brad could be shooting at some of the following: a computer monitor, a stack of 20 clays, a beer bottle 8 feet away, a VHS player, or maybe even a target.

After this our stoke was real high and we still had to monster truck back! Once we finally hit pavement we decided that some slices were in order so we drove to Main Street and got some lunch. When we got back inside we all agreed that we would be perfectly content just going to bed after such an amazing day, but who were we kidding... there was partying to be done!

Lately our 6th roommate (Cool Dave Ferrari) has been doing a real good job of coming to town which has definitely made for some good weekends. Including Short Shorts 5, which is somewhat old news yet new pictures keep surfacing, so here you go Dave, 1 more for the books.

Halloween Recap.. to the best of my ability..

Ok so this is a brief description of our Halloween. And a bunch of pics of what we looked like if we didn't see you at all. Haha

So Thursday we went to the OLD soccerhouse.. Which was basically an ash tray.. I felt like I was in a bar.. except way worse. Luckily that didn't last long cus it got busted. So Kells and i trucked over to the twins house for a bit and got some free beer from this drunk kid trying to impress mary and cathy. haha Then we went over to Steve's house, where everyone in the world saw what steve had under his robe... nothing... haha

Friday night involved a party at the TWINS house! i believe we went to the upfront that night as well. Dave joined us for the weekend with a stellar costume.. He also closed out his spectacular yet embarrasing month of October with a bang.

Saturday we went to a party at the NEW soccerhouse in which i somehow took over the DJ booth and gave everyone a good time on the dance floor. After that I walked to the upfront by myself to meet up with kelly and dave and thats about the time my memory left me.

I got out of class an hour early so i now have a hour until my next class begins, I have no homework to do and I've all ready browsed the entire internet (Newschoolers, Facebook, Mail, and TWsnow) So I decided I might as well update the blog.
Well this past Saturday I caught a pretty burly cold/fever and it got real gnarly on Sunday, I took off to wallmart and picked up a pretty large assortment of medicine with hopes of getting rid of this sickness ASAP. It's now Wednesday and im pretty sure im just about done with it, my nose just wont seem to stop running but it beats nonstop coughing and hot and cold temperatures.
My medicine of choice for this illness was definitely Nyquil

So hopefully I'll be back to full health by tomorrow and ready for the weekend.
It looks like Wild Mountain will not be opening this weekend which is a HUGE bummer, so now im forced to find a Halloween costume and wait even longer to go skiing.
As of right now my costume choices are as follows:

or perhaps I could resurrect the Trickin' Chicken...
Who knows.

Either way it really needs to just start snowing so Brule can open. I don't know how much longer i can make it with no snow.

First off, big thanks to Jordan, Rob and Quinn for holdin it down with a banger sss5. I gotta admit that we slacked a little bit and threw it all together the last 2 days before the party but as always, short shorts shenanigans came through with full house and $130 richer. A few stats before we get into the pics:

Turns out Jimbo was not lying about it being super cold in our house. Yesterday i went downstairs to wash a couple dishes when i came across this...

So after a few more hours of walking around the house in winter jackets and huddling around candles we decided to turn on the heat! Now were sitting at a cozy 60 degrees and it feels AMAZING!

7:30AM came around and my trusty alarm clock went off, I did not have much to do since i was unable to eat or drink anything 6 hours prior to surgery. I threw on some comfy clothes waited for my mom to get ready and then we were off. We arrived at the office and I was the first patient of the day.
The nurse opened the door and called my name, I took my seat and told her "let's get this over with" she then asked me if I had any questions where I then asked for my teeth when they were done but due to some lame insurance laws she said it was a health risk to let me bring them home...
After that disappointment I was then hooked up to an IV where i remember thinking, this is probably going to be the last thing I remember, which it was. Now im not sure if this really happened or if i woke up for a second or two but it seems like i remember seeing and hearing the doc pulling out my bottom right tooth and thinking "shit i gotta fall back asleep". Then when I officially woke up I was stoked that i wasn't in pain and that it was all over with. I rolled out of the office in a wheel chair and hopped into my mothers car looking a little somthin' like this...

Then I got home and had a totally numb lower lip, tong and roof of my mouth which made it real hard to drink water without getting half of it on my shirt. A whole lot of drooling took place today...

They bled for about 4 hours so I had to swap out the gauze quite a few times which was anything but fun...

I was real excited once my mouth finally decided to stop bleeding cause i was getting pretty hungry. So i had my first of many gourmet meals for the day. Starting with mashed potatoes, then moving to easy mac.

Nothing like swallowing some easy mac whole.

I made sure to keep icing my face with hopes that it will make for a quicker recovery so I looked like this for the majority of the day...

I'd say it's a good look.

Overall i was pretty stoked with how little pain there has been so far, I know alot of people say the 2nd and 3rd day are pretty ruff but if thats the case atleast I've got a full bottle of pills as well as a full season of Fantasy Factory to watch. I'll be sure to update again tomorrow but heres where im sitting at now...

The Last Day With All of My Teeth

On Wednesday Oct. 7th Mary and I headed down state to my home, Grand Rapids. I have an appointment to get my wisdom teeth pulled out on Friday so Mary agreed to being my chauffeur for the ride home on Sunday. The drive home went really well and we managed to only make one stop, their was a lot of story telling and Mary even managed to slip in a few country tracks.
When we arrived to my house Mary got to meet the fam, then we ate some Chinese food and decided to rent a movie and call it a night. We watched "the Haunting in Connecticut" which did a good job of scaring the 2 of us.
When we woke up the next morning we quickly headed out and began to do some shopping. We had to take a quick break so that i could go get a pre examination and a full rundown on what my surgery will consist of.

This is the building I will soon loose 4 teeth to.

As soon as that was over Mar and I headed over to Chipotle to slay some delicious food(and to make Jimbo jealous).

Now that we had full stomachs it was time to do some more shopping so we headed over to the Woodland Mall.

And we got to work...

Well let's see, friday night we ended up having a surprise guest...

or three... Including Dave and Cody!

And after getting chocked out by Jimbo i knew my night could only get better...

Once I finally got my breathing back to a steady rate the first thing i remember is Dave saying, "Let's go to the Up Front! I'll cover your cover!"

How could one say no!?

So we strolled down the street and entered the bar, which was not an easy task for me... after handing the bouncer my trusty ID i was forced to recite my address, state my middle name, spell my middle name, smile, state my birthday, and sign a piece of paper... after i finally stumped the bouncer i was let in and it was time to PARTY.

I think we were one shot down when we met this character...

After a silent conversation (and a few more shots) he turned into this!...

After a few more shots and maybe a mixed drink or two Cody and I decided to claim out title as the best dancers of the night. We had to battle a very worthy opponent... But we came out on top with a flawless victory! So another drink was in order!

According to reliable sources the other members of the team continued to party until close to 6a.m.

Either way it was a great night! so thank you Dave and Cody for the Hundreds of dollars you dropped that night (this is not a lie).

How to revive a partied out carpet!

About 7 weeks ago our house could no longer take the musty smell of our old carpet so we went out and found a new piece of replacement carpet. We were pretty desperate so we went with the first option we found for a good price. We ended up spending 20 bucks for a nice 10x12 piece of carpet, the only drawback was that it was white...

We knew this was risky but we thought we could handle it...

WE WERE WRONG!

In that 7 weeks our carpet suffered hundreds of stains consisting of, but not limited to;

Spilled drinks

Dog piss

Dog poop

Dip spit

Used dip

Human vomit

Dog vomit

Dirty shoes

And a handful of other terrible situations, so needless to say it looked pretty shitty.

So now i will give you a brief instructional on "how to revive a partied out carpet."

First step:

Go out to a Wallmart and purchase a bottle or two of your favorite color RIT Dye and try to find a pesticide sprayer.

We chose the ever so popular "wine" color, giving our house a tasteful look.

Second Step:

Mixing the RIT dye requires hot water which can be difficult to transfer into the spray bottle. One easy way of doing this is to use a beer bong (also good for many things other than bonging beer) to transfer the hot water from the tap directly into the sprayer.

Third Step:

Spread your carpet out on a flat surface outside and start spraying!

Try to spray it in sections

The transformation.

Fourth Step:

Apply at-least 3 coats of dye to the carpet to fully cover up the stains. Then you will have to rinse off the entire patch of carpet with cold water, make sure to do this until the only water running off of the carpet is clear in color.

Fifth Step:

Air the carpet dry. This step took us about 2 full days to get all of the moisture out so be sure to check the weather forecast.

Sixth Step:

Bring the carpet back into the house and continue to party with a fresh new look!

Good as new!

Jimbo's Journey

Friday night Jimbo and I (Kelly Shaheen) decided to get out of the house and head over to the twins house. I was a couple drinks down and unaware that Jimbo was all ready drunk enough for the both of us. This made for a pretty interesting bike ride from our place to the twins house, Jimbo was having a pretty difficult time keeping the bike grips on the handle but none the less we made it. There was a pretty large group of girls at the party which led to a lot of free drinks and shots, which were pretty unnecessary for Jimbo but how could one say no?

Then Jimbo began to finish off everyones fifths of Burnetts sending him into blackout mode.

Jimbo loungin but definitely not falling asleep (yet).

Then Jimbo found a deck of cards, an air horn, and a large bag of M&M's, a pretty good recipe for a mess with a lot of noise.

After about a half hour Jimbo slowly began to get tired and attempted to walk home, where he was found on the side of the road by Jake J. and Luke H.

So Brad being the good roommate that he is, he went off and picked up "a Jimbo". When i arrived back at the house about 2 hours later i found Jimbo sleeping standing up and a whole mess of puke in the bathroom. At least most of it fell in the toilette, right?

This was how I saw Jimbo last before I called it a night on the couch...

A little over a week ago Ben and I went out around town so that Ben could paint some walls and get some artwork done, i brought my video camera along so i could document it all. The paintings turned out really sick and we strategically placed them in places where we will be able to jib around on this winter so stay tuned for that. But anyways here is what we came up with.

Last Wednesday (Sept. 9th) one of my best friends Kevin Steen flew into Marquette coming from Salt Lake City, UT. Along with Kevin coming to town about 24 other downstate homies were coming up to Marquette for the weekend as well, they all stayed at Steve's house, Kevin stayed here with us.

Wednesday night we just chilled at Steves house for the night getting his house ready for the weekend madness. Thursday we had a quick blackrocks sesh then later that night we ended up partying at Steve's house as well as the twins house, making for a bluff street block party. The cops put an end do that by stopping over at Steve's and handing out a few noise violations.

Which brings me to friday...

we took Kevin all over the city during the day and took full advantage of the good weather we had, then when night fell we decided we would head out to a party in the woods with all the other friends. We packed full a group of 5 cars and drove down 550 turning off on some random dirt road, Emma drove us out there so it wasn't much of a problem for her "Hippie Boy" jeep.

When we finally got there it was a pretty happy scene, a bunch of people showed up and there was a huge bonfire as well as live music, it looked like it was going to be a good night.

However, Kevin must have been pretty thirsty because after just about 45 minutes three fourths of his fifth was all ready gone...

Seeing that he was drinking rum he was quickly turning into an angry sailor.

I like this picture because I'm pretty sure thats all Kevin could see for the rest of the night. BLACKOUT!

So "blackout Kev", AKA, "Confederate Kev", AKA, "Party Kev" enjoys running his mouth, holding up his middle fingers and getting in strangers faces. This is a great recipe for starting an unnecessary fight.

So to say the least Kevin was not the most liked person at the party and he literally could not even walk after this point so we decided to dip out and head back home. This was not an easy task...

We had to carry Kevin all the way back to the car, only to continuously hear the words "Fuggin Faggots"

So once we threw him in the trunk we quickly headed back to the house with hopes of Kevin passing out. Hmm that would of been nice.

So i got Kevin to the doorstep where he decided to loose a few pounds and puke all over the welcome mat. Better outside than inside!

From there we got him on the couch and tried to give him some water and put him to sleep but he was way to stoked on flicking us all off. hahaha. After another puke sesh he ended up looking like this.

So i called it a night as well and went to bed, only to wake up at 4am to Kevin taking a piss in my laundry hamper...

Thats one way to make me do my laundry.

And that was friday night in a nutshell!

The rest of the weekend went really well, Dave came down for saturday and sunday. We went out to dead river, partied at Dave Wagners, had a dance battle at Flannigans with a 40 year old, went diving, and took a midnight bike ride to econo. Kevin is now on his way back to Utah, hopefully he had a pretty good time up here.

Americas Most Wanted

Now that Brad has given you a full rundown of the madness we experienced last wednesday I'll try to give you my perspective on the whole thing.

So exactly one week from today I was sitting in class impatiently waiting for the clock to hit 3pm so i could dip out of class early and hop in Mary's car. I had never been to Milwaukee before so i had no idea what was in store for me and i had no clue as to how long the drive would take but Mary and Cath assured me that we would make it in time. They were not lying, when Mary is behind the wheel anything is possible... some might say she drives a little reckless but if thats what it takes to get me to a Weezy concert on time I'm all for it!

So the drive was an adventure in its self, i had the luxury of sitting bitch the entire way so after about 2 hours my ass was completely numb. Luckily Brad was playing DJ for the ride and we were only forced to listen to about 2 country songs. I brought a small candy stash but i blew my cover and soon enough everyone was eating my candy so after about 3 and a half hours of driving we made our one and only stop so we could pick up the essentials...

After that the rest of the ride went pretty smoothly aside from Emily nearly peeing her pants.

When we finally arrived in the parking lot for the venue my stoke level had nearly reached an all time high so we quickly made our way to the entrance so we could claim our seats.

Now i was REAL stoked knowing that i was about to see Lil' Wayne in concert. So we got up to our seats in the "Lawn" section which was actually pretty sick for a 25 dollar ticket. Soulja Boy was on set doing his thing, which is actually a pretty good show (i saw him earlier this summer with Gucci Mane) he sang some club bangers and definitely got the crowd hyped.

Following Soulja Boy was Young Jeezy who i was real excited to see but there was about 20 minutes of downtime in-between the two sets so brad and i went off to go purchase some merch and buy the twins some 6 dollar miller light.

Jeezy came on with a pretty sweet intro claiming there was something like a 8 million dollar reward for bringing him in. He came out full force bringing up everyones stoke level playing some good hits for all of his albums. Like Brad said before it would have been cool if he had a longer set list but everything was made up for with the events that followed.

So in between Jeezy and Wayne the entire grass seating section (which included us) rushed through the security down into the lower seating area and somehow throughout all of the madness Brad an i Managed to get 3rd row seats right in the center. Here is a picture of the madness.

So now that we had some real good seats i was even more excited to see weezy, then the lights dimmed and some crazy wayne video came on all of the screens followed by weezy's entrance coming out singing Cannon with lights and all sorts of fireworks blazing.

after the first act i was too stoked to comprehend anything else so i think I'm just gonna post the rest of the pictures that i got that night with some captions. But overall it was by far the best concert i have ever attended. I expected it to be sweet but it was way more epic then i ever thought possible. Wayne played nonstop for over 2 hours and the set was ridiculous. I was also real impressed with the set list covering tha carter 1-3 with a handful of mixtape tracks. Definitely the highlight of my semester so far. So lets get to the pictures.

After the concert was over of-course we still had a 5 hour drive back to Marquette so that we could all make it to class on Thursday (except for Brad who slept through 2 alarms). I agreed to staying up the entire drive with Mary as long as i got to sit shotgun and control the Ipod. I'm pretty sure mary and i took a 5 hour energy shot at like 3a.m. so that kept us going for a little bit, Cath randomly got sick causing us to have to make a few puke pit stops. We finally rolled back into lovely Marquette around 6a.m.

TOTALLY WORTH IT!

Wednesday night was probably the best night of my life. 10 hours of driving with an insane driver named Mary Legault but it was totally worth it when we arrived at the Marcus Amphitheater in Milwaukee, Wi. for The America's Most Wanted tour.

Mary, Cathy Legault, Emily Zellar, Kells and Myself took off at 3pm eastern time for a 7pm central concert time. DJ Brad controlled the music after Mary dicked it by tryin to play country music to get us stoked to see Weezy.. We got there a little late and missed Jeremih and Pleasure P but I wasn't too upset about missing out on a live performance of Birthday Sex.. We got there in time to see most of Soulja Boy, all of Young Jeezy and of course Lil Wayne and Young Money Entertainment.

Now let me just say, I am not a Soulja Boy fan except for 2 or 3 songs. But I have to admit, he does put on a good show. He did play "kiss me thru the phone" and "turn my swag on" which were the only 2 songs I wanted to hear.

Jeezy, which just so happens to be the name of Chris and Vaugn's new puppy, played a short set. I would've like to see more of him. He barely had any time to get all his hits into the set. He didn't play to much from The Recession which is my favorite album by him but he DID go all the way back to Thug Motivation 101 with "soul survivor" that was legit.

Before Jeezy came on, Kells and I went to the Merch tent and Kells got a $15 bandana.. I shoulda done that as well but of course not, I went for the $35 shirt.. make it $40 cus its an extra 5 dollas for bigger sizes like 2xl.. and your not gonna NOT get dub x when it is offered to you. We saw the tour buses as well and a bunch of dudes hangin around outside of them, one of them I saw, during Lil Wayne's set, walk right up to a girl in the front row of the middle section, talk for about 10 seconds, got her phone number and walked away.. In the words of sir Tyler Aymond, that was sweet!

10 minutes before Wayne came out, they opened the gates to the middle section of bleachers and everyone in the lawn rushed up to get in.. Somehow, Kells and I managed to stay together and get into the 3rd row.. We were still a good distance away since there was a whole lower level of bleachers and a floor between us and the stage but it was way better than the lawn.

Weezy was rediculous. 2 hour set and he played just about every hit he has been apart of the last couple years, almost every song on Tha Carter III and went as far back as Tha Carter with "go DJ" and he played with a full band along with a dj.. He also slayed some guitar for a little bit.

Along with Wayne came all of YME as well, like Gudda Gudda, T-Streets, Mack Maine, Jae Millz, Tyga, Lil Twist, Lil Chuckee, Nicki Minaj and Shanell. They all had at least a verse or two throughout the show. Along with them were his 6 or 7 dancers, who all happened to be hot. They danced on anything on stage which included chairs and stripper poles.. Chris is soo jealous about that..

Birdman showed up!! Him and Weezy sang their verses on "we takin over" and it was awesome!

Kells has more to add to this because this night was definitely worth more than just one blog post.. so he'll be back later with pics. All I have to say about this concert is that it was easily the best concert I've ever been to. I would do it again if I had the chance to. We got home at 6am and i slept for about 20 minutes on the way home. I was wayy to stoked to sleep. I was shaking with adrenaline when we got in the car.

I'll leave you a little video compilation that kells put together of a few videos we took while at the concert. They are a little crappy since they were all on a digital camera but its just a small amount of what we witnessed.

Allright so lets see if i can't get this blog back up to date, the details are a little blurry since the last post but ill try my best to fill you in on the highlights.

Soo unfortunately Vogt was way too busy bringing the cup home every night and getting the most out of his Marquette visit to make the guest blog update part 2. It was sick having him at the house, it definitely made for a good first week of school.

Thursday night chris and i headed over to Steve G's house for a party (always a good time)

a magnificent host.

After a few hours of partying at Steves house i came up with the brilliant idea to add a little flair to my ears and who could be better at piercing then Chris Vogt? So after cleaning some earrings off with a little 5 O'clock vodka and a quick 20 second icing of my ears Chris went to work.

This is a pretty bad picture to show off the earrings but i assure you there in there, I'm not sure if i was more stoked on the new look or the fact that it was a painless process.

Friday consisted of a quick cruise down to mainstreet to get some slices. But we made sure to roll with style...

After that Chris and i rolled down to black rocks to kill some time. Ben and Ty were busy adventuring to a island, "2 dudes, 1 Kayak"... haha i wish they had some pics of this cause according to Ben it was the worst idea he's ever had.

Friday night we had a few people over here...

Then we all rolled out to a few different house party's, one was real sick but as it usually goes in MQT the cops were sure to stop the fun. Luckily we had a ride home, Brad and Chris look like they were well on their way to bringing home the cup this night...

Woke up the next morning only to find this...

And the house was looking pretty partied out so a progression session took place...

After a quick cleaning sesh some food was in order, so we strolled over to the dorms for a full meal.

Which brings me to saturday night, Chris Vogt's final night, it was bound to be good. We started things off to a couple hours of R. Kelly "trapped in the closet" Dave S. should be proud. After everyone was numb to the reoccurring beat we decided to roll over to the twins house for a bit, which somehow brought us over to Christine and OKJ's house where Christine decided to push everyone over the limit with nonstop shots of 99 Bananas and Svedka... This was a direct result to me blowing it and passing out. Luckily i have the worlds sweetest roommates who continued on to the bars which sounded like a total shit show and apparently the entire crew was escorted out after an hour or two. (your going to have to talk to Brad, Chris, or Ty if you want details on that. Ben was there but he still can't remember that.) I was off dreaming in my bed fully clothed on top of the covers... Standard

But at least i woke up to this the next morning...

Hahahaha, gets me every-time.

Then unfortunately chris had to head off back to Kalamazoo for a few days then he's back off to Utah. His visit was probably one of the best weeks i've had in a real long time though, hopefully we will be seeing more of the kid.

Sunday ended with a trip to the gladstone skatepark with a handful of kids, we got some real good footage so expect to see an edit of that posted within a few days.

Whats up to all the brohio house blog homies, my name is Chris Vogt. Some of ya'll might know me, and some of ya'll don't. Some of ya'll might get wit this, and some of ya'll wont but check it...you know the rest. I've never blogged, so im about to give it a try. We had a sick night on Tuesday, definitely brought the cup home. Waking up on wednesday morning was a pretty good challenge for all involved.

Diesel is ill, I don't usually like little dogs but he's growin on me, so I rapped about him.

I was chillin wit lil Deezy, the most steezy, comin through this bitch so breezy, wit more diamonds in the chain than Jeezy. A slick talker, i mean greasy, got girls in a line like beezy after beezy, and yeah i know the rap is cheezy, so fuck it, i'll go put on some lil weezy.

We finally got up and made our way to the MP. For those of you who don't know, i decided to post the recipe for "Holiday Punch" aka, the hangover cure, aka, party punch.

Final night of the saturday lifestyle

Yup the last Saturday of summer, the last real saturday of my every days a saturday lifestyle i've been living for the past 4 weeks. That being said it was a given that it was going to be a good night.

The day was already off to a real good start with Chris Vogt arriving to the house for a very overdue visit. Then after a few stops the night started off with some drinks here at the house. Rob M. strolled over with a few of his homies from back home along with some other kids. So we did what any nice host would do... PARTY

Houghton Weekend Carnage

Sunday August 16-17:

Kells, Greg, Schmitty and I began a trip to Houghton with Kells driving while Greg, Chris and I sat 3 deep in the back seat watching "I Love You Man." -Decent movie- We met Dave at The Pines, too bad they were out of Silver Wolf Vodka.. Cheaper than 5'O with all the same positive qualities.
We went to Sturgen River for some cliff jumping, no hang gliders allowed btw, where Dave paraded around in his partied out, gnarley boxer briefs, hiking around in the woods like a true man. Kells forgot his Digi Cam and the batteries for his Go-Pro were dead so we got absolutely no footage of this trip.. sucks.

Dave has the secret underground railroad underneath his house entering through a medium-sized vent into the pool area.. lucky kid..

It took us four bars to finally get Kelly into a bar since he lost his ID.. But by the time he got in, he was more drunk than any of us since he sat in the car slammin 5'O waiting to see if they were checking IDs..

Finally we got him in to Monte Carlo's in Hancock, across the bridge. He was our DD if anyone questioned it. After a while, Kelly was passing out on the table so we sent him to the car for a nap while we closed out the bar.

Long story short I left Monte Carlo's that night with a new coozi and the bartender's number, we left my number and Chris' name on a receipt

We were wayyyy to drunk to drive home so we woke up Kells out in the parking lot and began our multiple mile walk back to Dave's house.... CARNAGE...

Walk home stats:

-2 - number of times i got lost from the rest of them
-1 - flag that left Houghton the next day forever
-2 - pots Greg and I moved/kicked over
-1 - Chris laying flat in the middle of the road
-1 - stop sign i found and was dragging til Kells made me drop it.. good call
-1 - Suspension Bridge boosted to the river below by Greg
-5 - seconds the convo was between Greg and I about how the water COULD be shallow in that area
-10 - long seconds before Greg surfaced in the water below
-2 - pizzas made once we returned

All in all good night.. We returned to The Dredge the next day where i basically peed my pants before jumping into the water 50-60 feet below.. Chris was too scared to even think about doing it.. But he did shit in the secret spot inside the building.. so nasty.. didnt even wipe.. raw..

We sat three deep on the ride home as well watching Holes, which we continued to finish once we got home.

Best part of the night:

The fact that others actually ordered the Schmidt shot after it was created..

It's OFFICIAL. after 3 months of being absent from Brohio, I have returned.

Here are some stats from the summer:

-1 job for the Village of Lake Zurich doing Park Maintenance

-2 visits to Appleton, Wi. to see T$

-3 side-jobs I go hired on for including wallpapering, plumbing, and house-sitting

-3 grand made this summer-- LEGIT $$$

-1 night I tried to walk home from a bar located 20 minutes from my town, driving..

-4 glasses acquired from bars, including a new Stella glass since mine fell off Reid's truck

-40 hours a week AT LEAST i spent making money

-4 scuffles at bars due to being mouthy

-1 gay guy who kissed me on the cheek in Appleton

-1000 gay people in Appleton

-0 gay people I like

-9 days of partying before school starts, lets get it poppin

Look for me to make more of an impact now that i have returned to my lower level room of Brohio. Look forward to the new year and the new roomate.. STOKE

On wednesday night Ben, Chris, Greg, and I decided to head out to Little Presque and camp on the beach. it was a pretty good night full of cheap tall boys, sandy spaghettios, and fireworks...

oh yea there was a sweet meteor shower too.

Allright so this is officially the first post in the Brohiohouse blog, hopefully this will give you all a brief understanding of out house and the crew that lives here.
